The N1 rocket, 11А52 — the Soviet carrier rocket of a superheavy class. It was developed from the middle 1960 — x in SKB-1 under the direction of Sergey Korolyov and Vasily Mishin. Originally intended for a conclusion to a circumterraneous orbit heavy (75 t) a space station with prospect of ensuring assembly of the heavy interplanetary ship for flights to Venus and Mars. With adoption of the overdue decision on inclusion of the USSR in so-called «lunar race» on the organization of flight of the person on a surface of the Moon and his return back N1 has been forced and became the carrier for the forwarding L3 spaceship in the H1-L3 complex. In 1974 the Soviet piloted lunar program has been closed, and a bit later — in 1976 — works on N1 are also closed also. All piloted lunar program, including the N1 carrier, has been strictly coded and became property of publicity only in 1990. The technical name N1 was derivative of the word "carrier".

Unidirectional rotating bezel allows to the diver to mark necessary time.
